I’m an assistant professor at National Sun Yat-sen University, under the International Doctoral Program of Marine Science and Technology and jointly appointed at Department of Oceanography.

I’m an evolutionary biologist with broad interests in processes that shape biodiversity. During my PhD, I worked on marine larval morphology and behaviors at Biodiversity Research Center, Academia Sinica.

I am also trained in bioinformatics and interested in studying biology with computational methods. During my postdoc, I work on genomics problem using deep learning approaches at Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica.

My current research integrates my past experience and expertise to address problems in marine sciences through interdisciplinary approaches.
